Expert drone videography for property, tourism and businesses in Devon and the South West.

Professional drone videography for Devon businesses

Bring your property, project or event to life with dynamic aerial video. Professionally planned and flown drone footage adds movement, scale and cinematic quality, helping your location or story stand out in websites, social media and marketing campaigns.

I work with property owners, tourism businesses and organisations across Devon and the wider South West, creating short aerial clips and fully edited sequences tailored to how you plan to use them.

Types of drone videography that I offer in Devon

Aerial video is an ideal way to show the setting of a home, holiday let, caravan park or larger estate. It reveals layout, access, parking and the surrounding landscape with movement and scale, helping your property or site stand out on listing and booking sites. For full marketing coverage, drone video can be combined with my ground‑based Property Photography service., and also with Drone Photography for still images.

Property and accommodation

Aerial video is a powerful way to showcase homes, holiday lets, caravan parks and larger estates. Smooth, cinematic footage reveals layout, setting and surroundings in a way that stills alone can’t, helping your property stand out on listing sites and in social‑media campaigns. For full marketing coverage you can combine drone video with ground‑based Property Photography, and Drone Photography for still images.

Tourism, hospitality and attractions

For holiday parks, campsites, hotels and visitor attractions, drone video gives potential guests a clear feel for your site before they arrive. I create clips tailored for websites and social media, highlighting your facilities, location and nearby landscape, so guests know what to expect.

Business locations, projects and land

Drone videography works well for business parks, commercial premises and projects where you need to show access, layout or progress over time. I can supply a mix of wide establishing shots and closer passes, suitable for reports, presentations, websites and longer edits.

Standalone clips vs full edits

Depending on your needs, I can provide standalone clips for your own editor to use, or create a fully edited short film with music, titles and simple branding. We’ll agree the format, approximate length and style at the briefing stage so you receive exactly what you need.

How a Devon drone video shoot works

1. Enquiry and brief

You tell me what you need to show in the video, where it will be used and any must‑have shots. We’ll discuss duration, style (for example, a smooth overview or more detailed sequences) and how aerial clips will sit alongside any ground‑based content.

2. Planning and permissions

I check the location for airspace restrictions, agree launch areas and flight paths, and obtain any permissions required. If a particular move or height isn’t possible under UK drone regulations, I’ll explain why and suggest safe alternatives.

3. On‑site flying and filming

On the day I work efficiently and safely, capturing a range of smooth, stable footage while keeping disruption to a minimum. Where practical we can review key shots on site to make sure we’ve covered everything important.

4. Editing and delivery

Footage is edited into a set of usable clips or a short film, and supplied as downloadable files in common formats suitable for websites, social media and presentations.

Safety & compliance

I am a fully insured and experienced drone operator, using a DJI Mini 3 Pro for commercial photo and video work. All flights are planned to comply with UK drone regulations, taking account of airspace restrictions and local conditions. If a proposed flight is not possible for safety or legal reasons, I’ll explain the options and suggest alternatives. Proof of insurance can be provided if required by your venue or organisation.

Drone videography pricing in Devon

Every drone video project is slightly different, so I price each job individually based on the location, complexity and how much footage you need. As a guide, short drone video shoots at a single location near Honiton typically start from £249 for up to 1 hour on site, including planning, filming and editing of a short sequence or a set of cleaned‑up clips.

Typical pricing includes pre‑flight checks and planning, on‑site filming, careful editing of selected clips, and a usage licence covering most day‑to‑day marketing uses (websites, social media, property portals and presentations). Travel within around 20 miles of Honiton is included; for longer journeys or more complex locations there may be a small additional charge for mileage or extra time, which I’ll always confirm clearly in your quote.
