Expert drone photography and video for property, tourism and businesses across Devon and the South West.
Professional drone photography across Devon and the South West
Professional drone photography across Devon and the South West, creating aerial images for property, tourism and business marketing. I help you show the bigger picture – from individual homes and holiday parks to tourist attractions, farms and business parks – so people can quickly understand your location, layout and surroundings. Based near Honiton, I regularly work across East Devon, Exeter, Exmouth and much of Devon, with projects also in Somerset and West Dorset.
Types of drone photography that I offer in Devon
Aerial photos are an ideal way to show the setting of a home, holiday let, caravan park or larger estate. They highlight gardens, plots, access, parking and the surrounding landscape, helping your property or site stand out in listings and on booking sites. For full marketing coverage, drone photography can be combined with my ground‑based Property Photography service., so you have everything you need for your website, social media and printed materials.
Property and holiday‑let drone photography
I work with estate agents, developers and holiday‑let owners across Devon to create aerial images that show the full context of a property. Drone photos can reveal plot size, gardens, parking, access routes and nearby features in a single frame, giving buyers and guests a much clearer sense of place. For a complete set of visuals, I can combine drone work with interior and exterior ground‑level photography in the same visit.
Tourism, hospitality and attractions
For holiday parks, campsites, glamping sites, hotels and visitor attractions, drone photography gives potential guests a clear sense of scale, layout and location. Overhead views help people understand how pitches, lodges, facilities and parking all fit together before they book. I create images and short video clips that work well on websites, booking platforms, brochures and social media, showing both your facilities and how they sit in the wider Devon landscape.
Business locations, projects and land
Drone images are also useful for farms, industrial sites, construction projects and commercial premises. They can document progress, show access and layout, and provide striking visuals for reports, planning documents, presentations and marketing materials. Where needed, I can supply both wide overviews and closer details from different heights and angles, giving you a clear visual record of your site or project.
If you’re not sure whether your project is suitable for drone photography, just ask – I’m happy to advise what’s possible within UK rules.

How a drone shoot works
1. Enquiry and brief
You tell me what you need to show and how the aerial images will be used. We’ll decide which views and angles are most important, and whether you’d like the drone stills to sit alongside my business photography on the ground, or be paired with drone video from my separate video service for a fuller promotional package.
2. Planning and permissions
I check the location for airspace restrictions, local by‑laws and any nearby hazards, then agree suitable launch areas and flight plans. If a particular angle, height or route isn’t possible under UK drone regulations, I’ll explain why and suggest safe alternatives that still achieve your goals.
3. On‑site flying and filming
On the day I work efficiently and safely, capturing a range of angles and heights while keeping disruption to a minimum for guests, staff and neighbours. Where we’re also filming video, I’ll plan simple, smooth flight paths that translate well into short clips for your website, social media or a longer promotional film.
4. Editing and delivery
After the shoot, I carefully edit the selected stills and video clips for colour, contrast and consistency so they sit well alongside your existing imagery. Files are then supplied via an online gallery or download link, ready to use on your website, social media, property portals and in printed or digital marketing.
Safety & compliance for South West drone flights
I am a fully insured and experienced drone operator, using a DJI Mini 3 Pro for commercial work. All flights are planned to comply with UK drone regulations, taking account of airspace restrictions, and local conditions. If a proposed flight is not possible for safety or legal reasons, I’ll explain the options and suggest alternatives.
Drone photography pricing in Devon
Every drone project is slightly different, so I price each job individually based on the location, complexity and time involved. As a guide, drone stills shoots start from £149 for up to 1 hour on site at a single location near Honiton, and combined drone stills and video start from £249 for up to 1 hour. For slightly larger projects you can allow for 1–2 hours on site, and I’ll confirm the exact cost once I understand what you need.
Typical pricing includes pre‑flight checks and planning, on‑site flying, careful editing of a curated set of still images and/or short video clips, and a usage licence covering most day‑to‑day marketing uses (websites, social media, property portals and printed materials). Travel within around 20 miles of Honiton is included; for longer journeys or complex locations there may be a small additional charge for mileage or extra time, which I’ll always confirm clearly in your quote.
Tell me a little about your location, what you’d like to show and any deadlines, and I’ll come back with options and a no‑obligation quote.
